Sewing classes have just begun with the machines purchased with the New Zealand grant. The women spend most of the day learning from more experienced seamstresses in the village. Everyone is happy with the machines and the program continues to expand as word gets out. Like sewing bees everywhere, one cannot overlook the social importance of being and working together.
